Curator of Insects & Arachnids
The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is seeking a Curator of Insects & Arachnids to lead one of North America’s most significant entomological collections. This role offers an exciting opportunity to advance research, develop exhibitions, support collections stewardship, mentor emerging researchers, and engage diverse audiences as part of ROM’s collaborative Department of Natural History. Opportunities may also exist for a university cross-appointment and eligibility to pursue external research funding. Exceptional early-career and mid-career scientists are encouraged to apply.

Graduate Research Opportunities
MSc / PhD Research Positions: Forest insect disturbance ecology
Recruiting MSc or PhD students for projects in forest science focusing on invasive species ecology and native insect outbreak dynamics. Students will be enrolled in the graduate program at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. Research areas include: insect ecology, chemical ecology, plant science, invasion biology, genomic analysis, remote sensing, forest disturbance, climate change, and ecological models. Thesis topics can be student driven. Research can be a mix of lab, field, and computer work.
