The Memoirs of the Entomological Society of Canada, begun in 1955 as supplements to The Canadian Entomologist, present substantial treatments of entomological interest, emphasizing original research. Many memoirs are valuable taxonomic monographs for different groups. Memoirs will not appear after number 171, 1997.
