The first of these will be published in 2017 to celebrate the 40<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the Biological Survey of Canada (<a href=\"http:\/\/biologicalsurvey.ca\/\">http:\/\/biologicalsurvey.ca\/<\/a>). It will be on the theme of \u201c<em>Terrestrial Arthropod Diversity in Canada: Celebrating 40 years of the Biological Survey of Canada<\/em>\u201d. In this context, \u201cterrestrial\u201d is defined to include upland, wetland and aquatic systems. If you wish to contribute to this special issue, please contact Dr. David Langor (<a href=\"mailto:david.langor@canada.ca\">david.langor@canada.ca<\/a>) by October 1<sup>st<\/sup>, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The second special issue will be published in 2018 to celebrate <em>TCE<\/em>\u2019s 150<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary. It will include manuscripts that each will provide a historical overview on a different aspect of entomological research in Canada. The first six submissions accepted for publication will be given free access on <em>TCE<\/em>\u2019s website. If you wish to contribute to this second special issue, please contact Dr. Kevin Floate (<a href=\"mailto:Kevin.Floate@agr.gc.ca\">Kevin.Floate@agr.gc.ca<\/a>) by December 1<sup>st<\/sup>, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Proposals for special issues can be submitted at any time to <em>TCE<\/em>\u2019s Editor-in-Chief. Proposals will be reviewed for suitability by the Publications Committee of the Entomological Society of Canada. Manuscripts submitted as part of a special issue are subject to the regular peer review process.
