We are seeking candidates whose research uses an integrative and interdisciplinary approach and who demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following areas: plant or animal ecology, conservation genetics\/genomics, evolutionary ecology, and\/or climate change ecology. Research areas include: the impact of temperature on resource allocation, stress resistance, reproductive physiology, behaviour, and habitat choice. We use several model insect species depending on the research question: lady beetles, native bees, black soldier flies, and agricultural pests.
